Life…

‘What is life?’ a question which seems simple and mysterious at the same time. Generations and generations of humans have spent a great deal of time thinking of the possible answers to this question. But, no one answer can be termed as ‘the correct one’. For each one of us, life has got a different meaning. We each exist for but a short time, and in that time explore but a small part of the universe. All of us put in our efforts to make our lives worthwhile. The magnitude of the efforts vary, so does the sincerity and so does the quality of the lives.

But, each individual is different. And no one’s life can be said to be more important than another’s. People come and go, take birth and die…few of them are remembered, many are not. Still, each person, and as a matter of fact, each organism that dwells upon the Earth, is in itself special.

Earth: Home to the Life we know

In this competitive world, we see each other as mere competitors and sadly, stop seeing each other as fellow human beings. And, that’s when we lose the essence of our lives. Devoid of love and selflessness, this is a world that’s fast going the way down. And we are surely missing the real beauty of life. But, unfortunately, these traits have, over the period of time, made way so much deep into our beings, that there is no quick way out. You may agree with me on this or you may not. But, as already said, everyone has got a different approach to life. And you are free to form your own opinions.

Nevertheless, there is no denying the fact that the reason for our existence, though it is bound to remain unknown, is something we can work upon. Whether you are a scientist, an engineer, an entrepreneur, a doctor, an artist, a sportsperson, anything…you’re the reason the way your life is. Sure.., there are factors beyond your control, but at the end of the play, when the curtain of life falls, it will be your actions that will decide whether or not, and if yes, then in what way, you’re remembered by the generations to come.

Life is a journey.., long or short; it’s your choice to make it large!
